Gonarthritis

Gonarthritis: osteoarthritis of the knee, is a degradation of the cartilage which can involve serious disability and much suffering for patients.
Much progress has been made during the past decade in understanding gonarthritis, especially knowledge of risk, which will soon make it possible to detect patients more likely to develop the disease (through obesity, specific professional activity, etc.) .
This work proposes a complete study on the diagnosis and the treatment of gonarthritis. It is especially useful as a remarkable iconographic source, providing a true atlas of the imagery of the knee, which will be of great service to many experts.
The authors also endeavour to give the reader precise and useful therapeutic pointers: what are the principal physical treatments of gonarthritis: rehabilitation, mechanical stimulation of the cartilage, hydrotherapy...?
